just want to ask. lets say I got 10k shares before bonus issue. today I sold those 10k. how many bonus share will i receive? 30k ? or my bonus shares will also be sold together with my 10k base shares?
the share you sold today is ord divided, meaning you only sold 10k out of total 40k. Balance will be 30k. U can sell all of the share even it not yet credited into your account. Just contact your remiser, they can do it for you.
@Meatloaf, based on my exp, Remisier only can help to sell after you've got the bonus share credited to your account. For Eg: I got 1k share ytd, today after BI, I only can sell 1k at the current new price. Another 3k I have to wait after Bonus Issued. or diff bank diff ways? (Mine is Public Bank ).
Mayb yours cannot but mine can, I ord sold my bonus share yesterday. Remiser have to inform hq to sell the bonus share before it credited into your account. They will do the adjustment later.
@meatloaf, you are right. I did ask my agent about this and only the remisier from broker firm is able to short sell bonus shares even not yet credited to our acc. Mine is considered bank and dealer only, thus they can't sell for me. Learnt new knowledge =)
