For sure I understood this type of selling. This have happen for HSBC in Hong Kong once also.. it is sudden plan to throw done due to low volume in between and cancel buy trade in last minutes and purposely push down price

This is what we called Window Dressing activity from big fund.This is normal,they sre balancing their portfolio in the end of the month.This is not abnornal activity. So,dont worry.They will buy in back later.This balancing activity is to make their portfolio nicer to their customer example:mutual fund.

Window dressing is normally do in year end for better closing price in annual financial report. Nothing to do with today throw down. Temporary don't have to worry. Check out tomorrow morning how US and Europe market perform 1st. Temporary Europe from earlier down have rebound to gain. If nothing much you all shall see a rebound tomorrow.
