Hi Wong, yes you are entitled to the bonus issued shares as long as you have and hold Penta's shares in your account before 4th August. Meaning to say by 3rd August, you must have the shares in your account, and you can sell them thereafter. Hope this clarifies :))

Hi Yoo , Penta is a fundamentally excellent company , coupled with 5G expected to be introduced at the end of this year, I think it would benefit from it (I may be wrong and inaccurate). Hi Christy , Frontkn itself is good and as you said, TSMC is being linked with them and I believe it will add sparkling elements to them but as compared to the other technology related counters , I personally would prefer Greatec or Dufu or Penta which has more room to grow. UWC is good too but its price has reached a bottleneck (technically). But different people has different judging criteria, hope this clarifies :))

Friday close market update: Based on the technical aspect, Penta may have another day of correction next Monday, with immediate support at RM6.35. (I may be wrong and inaccurate) In fact, I am actually glad for this wave of correction as it signals a healthy market wave. I am worried if it kept on increased in price. Penta just like most of the other technology counters , it follows the fluctuations of US tech counters, do note that this Thursday after the US market closed , most big US tech companies like Amazon , Apple would be announcing their earnings . Likewise Penta too , they may announce earnings in the coming days (I may be wrong and inaccurate). Should the earnings are not up to expectations, I would expect some sell offs which would have a bandwagon effect on Penta . So it’s a bet on the earnings for the moment :))Just my 2 cents

Good evening Max, no one knows the operator's play. However, looking at Mi's qr, they actually benefited from the China-US trade war, as more companies are diverting operations to SEA. Quick update : The big 4 : Google , Amazon , Apple and Facebook did better than expected during this pandemic , especially so for Amazon who recorded a fantastic earning of 10.30 a share as compared to an estimated 1.50 per share. Apple too recorded a 2.58 per share as compared to the estimated 2.07 a share. This greatly reflects how digitalisation plays a major role in today’s world and how technology is prominent in our day to day life. With that, I’m optimistic about Penta’s result for the coming quarters!! Wishing everybody a great week ahead :))

Good Morning NK, Nasdaq reach its record high of 11153.89 points last night,and it retraced a bit today. However, based on current trend, I felt sky is the limit (I may be wrong and inaccurate). And regarding overseas trading I think TDA or Interactive Brokers are more commonly used and are more established as compared to smaller platforms like Etoro. But there’s a bad side to that which is TDA and IB has some forms of brokerage fees as well as inactivity charges :))

Yup I trade both Hong Kong and US market as well , I have position in Meituan , Pingduoduo for HK market , Tencent as well but I’m looking for somemore retracement to add more position for Tencent . Tencent has a diversified business portfolio, and their gaming business has been very profitable lately, China’s lockdown brought upon immense utilisation rate of their games, as well as more and more people are incentivised to purchase the add-ons in their various gaming platforms. And overall , I see shadows of the US markets of the 2000s in the Chinese market , and I believe Chinese markets have much more untap potential !

For US market , the March dip has been a great collection period. It’s a rare opportunity to catch such a dip. I anticipate that with the presidential election coming soon this November there may be another minor dip which I may seek to add more :)) Cheers and have a great day !!

Good evening Steven, undeniably Penta previous QR was not so ideal, partly because of the start of MCO in Malaysia and the outbreak of Covid-19 globally, and as per mentioned by an article in Nanyang, Penta's engineer couldn't make a trip to their overseas customers' place ( places like Taiwan and Singapore). This may affect their operations and earnings and the upcoming QR may possibly also see EPS of smaller magnitude ( I may be wrong) but do note that if you're short term on Penta, then it may be a bad thing for you, however if you goes long on it (which I definitely would), then I would say semiconductor manufacturer like Penta will thrive especially when 5G are expected to be introduced end this year. I personally would top up more on dips like this. And you can take a look at AMD's QR for this season. Indeed some may say you don't compare diamond to silver but from AMD's QR, you can possibly draw some similarities from the details :)) Cheers and have a great one. just take Uncle article with a pinch of salt. Reduced in earning in previous QR is just temporary effect. For me, the growth is still intact, more plans and project from the company are in the pipeline. Long term wise, im not worried. haha

Good morning Zzz, today’s like result taking day , with the release of both GDP result and the much anticipated Penta ‘s QR . Penta’s Qr I am not very sure if it’s today , just according to I3investor blog they said it’s today :))

i believe GDP has not much effect on current bursa trading. They just take the chance to wash off all weak traders. If we have the faith on the stock, I dont see there is a point for selling off the stock. No matter how bad is the QR report, Penta will still my favorite pick.

PUTRAJAYA, 14 August 2020 – The Department of Statistics, Malaysia released the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the second quarter of 2020 (Q2 2020), which presents the overall performance of Malaysia’s economy.
Malaysia’s GDP contracted 17.1 per cent from a marginal growth of 0.7 per cent in the first quarter of 2020. The performance for this quarter was the lowest recorded since the fourth quarter of 1998 (-11.2%). On the production side, all sectors recorded a negative growth with the exception for Agriculture sector. Services and Manufacturing sectors were recorded a negative 16.2 per cent and 18.3 per cent respectively. Construction sector plummeted 44.5 per cent while Mining & quarrying declined 20.0 per cent. On the demand side, all final demand components declined except for Government final consumption expenditure which recorded a positive growth of 2.3 per cent. Private final consumption expenditure decreased 18.5 per cent, Gross fixed capital formation contracted 28.9 per cent, Exports dropped 21.7 per cent while Imports declined 19.7 per cent.

Prospects : While it remains challenging to anticipate and delve into the unfamiliar world of epidemiology to better understand the impact of the outbreak in the global economy, the Group is expected to stage a positive second half 2020 recovery. Currently, the Group is now back to its current 100% workforce run-rate with an aggressive production ramp up. Additionally, the Group has also resumed cross border travelling for its project site installation, albeit on a more restricted basis.

Against the pervasive uncertainty, the Group continues to witness several growth catalysts driving its business momentum. The demand level from
customers within the telecommunications sector remains robust owing to the Group’s broadening exposure in the optoelectronics ecosystem and 3D sensing technology. Yep NK and Warren Buffet is buying a stake in the company. Estimated IPO price around 80 ish +/-... I will study more about it then see if it’s worth investing. But cloud computing software has been quite profitable and in demand in recent years ... Regardless, the catalyst for the purchase would probably be due to Warren Buffett’s move hahahahaha :))

Hi NK , how has your week been ? It has been long:)) how is everything ? And yeap, good closing, and hopefully it can reach 4.90ish soon. From my observation (I may be wrong and inaccurate), Penta is currently undergoing a consolidating phase, but good thing now is that NASDAQ’s retracement doesn’t seem to have any big effect on Malaysia’s technology stocks. How is your portfolio holdings , is there any changes to it ?

Ohh and for snowflake’s IPO , it was mind-blowing , think many were attracted to it due to the fact that Warren Buffet has a stake in it , and their major customers include Amazon , Facebook etc . Share price rose over 105% from its IPO price.
