The Board of Directors of Ireka Corporation Berhad ("ICB") wishes to inform that on 3 May 2024, Ireka Development (Terengganu) Sdn Bhd (“IDTSB”), a wholly owned subsidiary of ICB and IDTSB’s current directors, were served with a Writ of Summons and Statement of Claim ("the Writ") by Kumpulan Wang Simpanan Pekerja ("KWSP") through their solicitors, Messrs Nashili & Co.

Under the Writ, KWSP is claiming from IDTSB and its current directors the principal sum of RM50,196.00 being the total outstanding KWSP contribution for the period from August 2023 to December 2023 together with dividends and late payment charges to be determined upon full settlement of the claimed amount.

IDTSB is currently negotiating a settlement plan with KWSP to resolve the amount claimed under the Writ.

There is no major financial impact as the amount claimed has already been recognized in the financial statements of IDTSB.

Further announcements will be made upon any material developments in regards to this matter, in accordance with the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
