Further to the announcement made on 20 February 2023 in relation to the Project, the Board of Directors of ASTEEL Group Berhad would like to announce that ASTEEL Development Sdn. Bhd. (“ADSB”) has on 26 April 2024 received a letter from Housing Development Corporation (“HDC”) and informed that ADSB's latest housing development proposal on the Project was not approved by the HDC Board as HDC decided to develop the land independently. With this decision, the approval letter dated 7 February 2023 duly accepted by ADSB on 20 February 2023 is void and null.
