We refer to our announcements dated 5 January 2024, 9 January 2024, 8 February 2024, 27 February 2024, 1 March 2024, 15 March 2024, 18 March 2024, 25 March 2024 and 5 April 2024 in respect of the above Suit. Unless otherwise defined, all definitions used throughout this announcement shall have the same meaning as defined in our said earlier announcements.
The Board of the Company wishes to update that the Plaintiff had on 19 April 2024 served the Affidavit in Reply in relation to the Summary Judgment to the Defendant in respect of the Suit.
Meanwhile, based on the case management held on 19 April 2024 in respect of the application to enter Summary Judgment against the Defendant (“Application”), the Court has directed the Plaintiff and Defendant to file their Written Submissions simultaneously on or before 14 May 2024 and the Submission in Reply simultaneously on or before 28 May 2024, since the filing of Affidavit in respect of the Application has been exhausted.
The Application has been fixed for Hearing before the High Court Judge via Zoom on 4 June 2024.
The Company will make the necessary announcements to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad as and when there are further developments in relation thereof and/or upon receipt of any further directions by the Court.
