The Board of Directors of Hengyuan wishes to inform that the Company has on 15 April 2024 received a Notice of Nomination from Malaysia Hengyuan International Limited, a major shareholder of the Company, of their intention to nominate Messrs KPMG PLT as auditors of the Company in place of the outgoing auditors, Messrs PricewaterhouseCoopers PLT (“Proposed Change of Auditors”) at the 65th Annual General Meeting ("AGM"), and to hold office until conclusion of the next AGM of the Company, at a remuneration to be determined by the Directors.
The Proposed Change of Auditors is subject to the shareholders' approval at the 65th AGM of the Company to be convened.
