The Board of Directors of Ahmad Zaki Resources Berhad (“AZRB” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Ahmad Zaki Sdn Bhd has on 1 April 2024, received the Letter of Acceptance from the Government of Malaysia – Jabatan Kerja Raya (“the Award”) for a project known as “Upgrading and Renovation Works for Istana Abu Bakar, Pekan Pahang Darul Makmur” (“the Contract”) at a total Contract value of RM315,899,950.55.00 for a Contract duration of 30 months from 1 April 2024.
The Contract is expected to contribute positively to the Group’s future earnings.
None of the Directors and Substantial Shareholders of AZRB or any persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the Contract. The Board of AZRB is of the opinion that the Contract is in the best interest of the Company. This announcement is dated 1 April 2024. |
