Reference is made to the announcement dated 30 November 2023.

The manager of the Fund, Eq8 Capital Sdn Bhd (formerly known as i-VCAP Management Sdn Bhd) (“Manager”) wishes to announce that the Second Supplementary Prospectus has been registered by the Securities Commission Malaysia on 13 March 2024 and shall be effective on 26 March 2024. 

The key amendments reflected in the Second Supplementary Prospectus are summarised below: 

1. change to the name of the Manager and the Fund as a result of the rebranding exercise of the Manager; 

2. updates to the corporate information of the Manager, trustee, trustee’s delegate, Shariah adviser, auditor and participating dealer of the Fund; 

3. updates to the investment restrictions of the Fund;  

4. updates to the Islamic index screening;

5. amendments to the disclosure relating to the risk management strategies and techniques of the Fund;

6. insertion of disclosure relating to the inflation risk and risk in relation to suspension of creations and redemptions;

7. amendments to the disclosure relating to the valuation fees of the Fund;

8. updates to the members of the board of directors of the Manager and their profiles; 

9. updates to the key personnel and designated fund manager of the Fund;

10. insertion of information relating to termination of the Fund without prior approval of unit holders under circumstances specified in the Second Supplementary Prospectus; 

11. updates to the salient terms of the deeds; 

12. insertion of information relating to cross trade policy of the Manager;

13. issuance of the sixth supplemental deed of the Fund dated 6 November 2023; 

14. updates to the tax adviser’s letter; 

15. insertion of the Shariah pronouncement; and

16. other general amendments pursuant to the Prospectus Guidelines for Collective Investment Schemes issued by the Securities Commission Malaysia.
