We refer to our announcements dated 5 January 2024, 9 January 2024, 8 February 2024, 27 February 2024, 1 March 2024, 15 March 2024 and 18 March 2024 in respect of the above Suit. Unless otherwise defined, all definitions used throughout this announcement shall have the same meaning as defined in our said earlier announcements.
The Board of the Company wishes to update that based on the case management held on 25 March 2024 in relation to the Writ and Summary Judgment, the Defendant had requested for leave to file a further Affidavit in Reply, which the Court allowed and the Defendant is required to file and serve the Affidavit in Reply by 5 April 2024. The Plaintiff had also been given leave to file a final Affidavit in Reply thereto within 2 weeks from the receipt of the Defendant’s Affidavit in Reply.
The Court has scheduled the next case management via online (e-Review) on 19 April 2024 for the Parties to update the Court on the status of the Affidavits in Reply.
The Company will make the necessary announcements to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad as and when there are further developments in relation thereof and/or upon receipt of any further directions by the Court.
