The Board of Directors ("Board") of Waja wishes to announce that the Company had on 13 March 2024 received a notice in writing from Moore Stephens Associates PLT ("MSA") dated 13 March 2024 on their resignation as auditors of the Company (“Notice”). MSA's term of office shall end after 21 days from 13 March 2024 or upon appointment of the new auditors, whichever is earlier, as stated in the Notice.

MSA were re-appointed as the auditors of the Company at the Twentieth Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) held on 15 December 2023 to hold office until the conclusion of the next AGM of the Company. The resignation of MSA is due to resource constraint.

Save for the above, the Board is not aware of any matters that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.

The Company will announce the appointment of new auditors in due course.
