We refer to the announcements made on 15 January 2024 and 23 February 2024 in relation to the Public Shareholding Spread Requirement (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the Announcements shall apply herein.

Pursuant to Paragraph 3.3 of Practice Note 19 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and in conjunction with the release of the 4th quarter results for the quarter ended 31 December 2023, the Board of Directors of GDEX Berhad (“the Company”) wishes to announce that based on the Company’s Record of Depositors as at 26 February 2024, the public shareholding spread stood at 24.99%, representing a shortfall of 0.01% from the minimum public shareholding spread requirement of 25%.

As at the date of this announcement, the Company has yet to formulate any rectification plan to address the shortfall in the public shareholding spread requirement but will endeavour to formulate such a plan soonest possible.

The Company will make the necessary announcements in relation to the status of its effort to comply with the public shareholding spread requirement.
