Reference is made to the announcement by the Company on October 18, 2023 in relation to the submission to Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (“SSM”) of an application for strike off of Kaplands Sdn. Bhd. [Registration No. 199501039125 (368327-X) (“KSB”)], a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kanchil Jaya Sdn. Bhd. [Registration No. 197601000416 (26360-T)] which is in turn wholly-owned by the Company from the Register of SSM.

Farlim wishes to announce that KSB has been struck off from the Register of SSM following publication in the Gazette by SSM pursuant to Section 551(3) of the Companies Act 2016 on January 23, 2024 which appears in the website of SSM on February 2, 2024.                            

The striking-off of KSB does not have any material effect on the earnings and net assets per share of the Company for the financial year ended December 31, 2023.
