We refer to the Company’s announcements dated 6 December 2023 (“Announcement”), 14 December 2023, 18 December 2023, 28 December 2023 and 29 December 2023 in relation to the Proposals. Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the Announcement shall apply in this announcement.
On behalf of the Board, Affin Hwang IB wishes to announce that the Islamic Capital Market department of Securities Commission Malaysia (“SC”), had vide its letter dated 29 January 2024, stated that the Shariah Advisory Council of the SC has no objection to the allotment and issuance of the RCPS-i A pursuant to the Debt Settlement with Lenders.
Further to the above, the Company has completed the issuance of the RCPS-i A pursuant to the Debt Settlement with Lenders today. For clarification purposes, the Company had, on 29 December 2023, completed the allotment and issuance of the BHIC Shares, RCPS A, RCPS B and RPS C pursuant to the Debt Settlements.
