The Board of Directors of MGB wishes to announce that based on the Record of Depositors as at 29 December 2023, the Company's public shareholding spread was at 24.3122%. As such, the Company does not comply with the public shareholding spread requirement of 25% pursuant to Paragraph 8.02(1) of the LR of Bursa Securities.
The percentage represents a shortfall of 0.6878% from the minimum required percentage of 25% of the total listed shares (excluding treasury shares) to be in the hands of public shareholders.
MGB will be applying to Bursa Securities for a 3 months extension of time to rectify the shortfall in the public shareholding spread in due course.
