We refer to the Company’s announcements dated 6 December 2023 (“Announcement”), 14 December 2023, 18 December 2023 and 28 December 2023 in relation to the Proposals. Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the Announcement shall apply in this announcement.
On behalf of the Board, Affin Hwang IB wishes to announce that following the approval of the Company’s shareholders for the Proposals which was obtained at the extraordinary general meeting convened on 29 December 2023, the Lenders’ Settlement Agreements and BHB Settlement Agreement has become unconditional today and the effective date for the Proposed Amendments to the Constitution of BHIC is today.
Further development on the Proposals will be announced in due course in accordance with Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities.
