This announcement is dated 6 December 2023.

Reference is made to the Company’s announcement on 18 September 2023, 11 October 2023, 27 October 2023 and 24 November 2023 in relation to the Proposed Scheme (“Earlier Announcements”).

Unless otherwise stated, all defined terms in this announcement shall carry the same meanings as defined in the Earlier Announcements.

On behalf of the Board, AmInvestment Bank wishes to announce that the Company had on 6 December 2023 obtained the sanction of the Court in respect of the Scheme including the grant of a vesting order by the Court pursuant to Section 366(2) and Section 370 of the Act, as advised by the Company’s solicitors. Pursuant thereto, the solicitors have filed the draft order to the Court on the same date.

The Scheme will take effect upon the extraction and lodgement of the sealed order with the Companies Commission of Malaysia at a later date, which will be announced in due course.
