The Board of Annum wishes to announce that the Company had on 3 October 2023 submitted to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) an application for an extension of time (“EOT Application”) to issue the Annual Report 2023 that includes annual audited financial statements together with the auditors’ and directors’ reports for the financial period ended 30 June 2023.

The reason of the EOT Application was mainly due to the additional time was needed by the Company to identify for suitable Auditors since the resignation of the previous Auditors. The Company has been actively searching for potential new Auditors subsequent to the resignation of predecessor Auditors. However, among the numbers of potential Auditors the Company approached, and majority of the Auditors responses were negative due to resources constraints of the respective firms.

Notwithstanding the above, the Company is still actively searching for potential Auditors to undertake the audit appointment.

Further announcement on the Bursa Securities’ decision on the EOT Application will be announced when the decision is made available.
