The Board of Directors of Karex Berhad ("the Company") wishes to announce that with effect from 28 August 2023, Mr Chew Fook Aun will be appointed as a member of the Audit Committee ("AC"), Risk Management Committee ("RMC"), Remuneration Committee ("RC") and Member and Alternate Chairman of the Nomination Committee ("NC"),  whilst Dato’ Dr. Ong Eng Long @ Ong Siew Chuan will resign as member of the AC.

Effective 28 August 2023, a new sub-committee under the RC called the Employees' Share Option Scheme ("ESOS") Committee will be set-up comprising Mr Chew Fook Aun as the Chairman and Dato' Edward Siew Mun Wai and Madam Lam Jiuan Jiuan as its members.

Following the above changes, the composition of the AC, RMC, RC, NC and ESOS of the Company with effect from 28 August 2023 will be as follows:
