Reference is made to the announcement dated 3 November 2016 on the MSPMA entered into between BPJ, a subsidiary of TWPH, and BAT Group in respect of supply to BAT Group for the latter's printed carton requirements in Indonesia.
The Board of Directors of TWPH is pleased to announce that BAT Group had on 8 February 2023 agreed to extend its current MSPMA for an additional three (3) years commencing from 1 January 2023 and expiring on 31 December 2025.
The MSPMA will not have any impact on the issued share capital, major shareholders’ shareholdings and shareholding structure of the Company. The MSPMA is also not expected to have any material effect on the gearing of the Company for the financial year ending 31 December 2023.
However, the MSPMA is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings and net assets of the Company as and when the expected earnings contribution from the said extension materialises.
None of the directors and/or major shareholders of TWPH and/or persons connected to such director and/or major shareholders have any interest, direct or indirect in the MSPMA.
