Mr. Lim Yong Hwa was appointed as Chief Financial Officer of HB Global Limited on 3 June 2026. Prior to this, he served as Group Chief Financial Officer of Heng Hup Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 1891), a Malaysian group listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Before that, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer of Ingenieur Gudang Berhad, a company listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, where he led major corporate exercises including fund-raising, disposal of investment properties and mergers and acquisitions.

He is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Mr. Lim started his career in a public accounting firm in 1994 before moving to the commercial environment, where he held various senior positions with increasing scope of responsibilities spanning finance, risk management, corporate governance and business development in companies involved in plantation, trading, construction, Engineering Procurement Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) and scrap metal trading activities, including overseas postings in Indonesia and the Republic of Congo, West Africa.
