PROPOSED ACQUISITION BY ABB OF THE ENTIRE EQUITY INTEREST IN PHEIM ASSET MANAGEMENT SDN BHD ("PHEIM AM") FOR A TOTAL CASH CONSIDERATION OF RM50.0 MILLION ("PROPOSED ACQUISITION")

Unless stated otherwise, abbreviations and definitions used throughout this announcement shall be the same as the announcement of the Company dated 20 November 2025.

 

Reference is made to the announcement dated 20 November 2025 in relation to the Proposed Acquisition.

 

On behalf of the Board, Affin Hwang IB wishes to announce that BNM had, vide its letter dated 2 April 2026 (which was received today) approved the Proposed Acquisition. The approval is subject to ABB undertaking post-completion reviews of certain operational processes of the Pheim AM Group, amongst others, review by independent external party prior to system integration.
