Reference is made to the Company's announcements dated 18 May 2022, 20 May 2022, 27 July 2022, 29 July 2022, 19 August 2022, 30 August 2022, 5 October 2022 and 17 October 2022 (collectively, "Earlier Announcements"), as well as the circular to shareholders dated 28 June 2022 in relation to the Proposals ("Circular"). Unless otherwise defined, the definitions used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Earlier Announcements and Circular.
The Entitlement Date for the Capital Reduction and Repayment shall be on Tuesday, 1 November 2022.
The Capital Reduction and Repayment will be implemented by way of a capital reduction from RM1,011,091,000 to RM725,091,000 and repayment of RM0.40 for each MPHB Share held by the Entitled Shareholders under Section 116 of the Act, as approved by the MPHB's shareholders on 27 July 2022 and confirmed by the High Court on 5 October 2022.
The Entitled Shareholders shall receive a cash distribution of RM0.40 for each MPHB Share held.
