KUALA LUMPUR: Kenanga Research is optimistic on Hartalega Holdings Bhd’s prospects over the next two quarters on the back of higher average selling prices ahead, coupled with sustained strong demand for gloves this year with capacity booked until year-end.
“The group is confident of sustained strong demand with orders filled up till end-calender year 2021 and higher average selling prices (ASPs) in the fourth quarter ending March 31,2021, by 40% to 50% quarter-on-quarter, ” the research house said.
It noted that Hartalega’s ASPs still lags behind its peers, adding that its current high ASP momentum would likely subside in the long run.
