The Board of Directors of SMRT wishes to announce that SMRT Holdings Berhad (“SMRT” or “Vendor”) had on 7 February 2023 entered into an agreement with Cekal Akasia Sdn Bhd (“Cekal Akasia” or “Purchaser”) to dispose 2 ordinary shares representing 100% equity interest in SMRPM (“Sale Shares”) for a consideration of Ringgit Malaysia One (RM1) Only (“Consideration”) (“Proposed Disposal”).

Upon completion of the Proposed Disposal, SMRPM shall cease to be a wholly-owned subsidiary of SMRT.
