Pursuant to Paragraph 9.20 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”), we wish to announce that JCB had acquired securities quoted on certain stock exchanges (“Quoted Securities”) where the aggregate purchase consideration for the period from 23 June 2021 to 17 September 2021, has exceeded 5% of JCB's latest audited consolidated net assets as at 31 December 2020.

The aggregate purchase consideration (including transaction costs) paid by JCB for the period from 23 June 2021 to 17 September 2021, is as follows:

1. Total cost: RM158.90 million 
2. Carrying/Book Value: RM214.45 million 
3. Market Value: RM308.27 million  
4. Profit arising from the sales in Quoted Securities during the current financial year : Nil
